Toe-up socks!

I am working on my first pair of socks - from the Universal toe-up Sock Formula using Cherry Tree Hill Supersock Merino Monet colorway.

Here is my beginning:





I didn't really understand what these "short rows" were doing at first, but I followed the pattern. It makes a really nice "seam" on the side!
