Mermaid! This is a doll we started on Retreat 2006. The pattern is 'Alantay' by Trudi Watkins. The point of the exercise was to teach beading. It took me forever, but she's finished! She will be on display at the Houston International Quilt Festival in the Material Girls Exhibit. :)
