There's always a Misc in the bunch..
Knitting
Thanks to Lime n Violet,
I now have a knitting obsession. Well, that's
not entirely true... I'd be considered a
poser if I showed anyone my yarn stash, but
that's just my nature. However, I started
listening to them in October, taught myself
to knit shortly afterward, and by Christmas
I had knitted my first scarf and hat, and have since
then bought several skeins of yarn (including
sock yarn!) and I am on the second glove
in my second pair of Knucks. I'm also addicted
to Knitty.com
When I figure out a good backdrop for these knitted items, and finish
up the second set of knucks I'll take some
pics...
In the mean time, you can see what I'm knitting on Ravelry.
And check out my Sets on Flickr:
Composition
Vest
This is a basic vest pattern made
from 100% Raw Silk. The color of the vest itself is a dark blue,
the fabrics used to make the applique composition vary: shaved rabbit
fur, rayon, cotton, satin, and there are some sequins and beads.
In case you aren't sure what you are looking at, this is a combination
of various drums/percussion instruments: Native American gathering
drum, Frame drum, Tambourine/Riq, Triangles, and Ashiko. The hands
are different colors, or "skin tones" to represent the
many people who play drums and percussion around the world. Machine
and hand applique.

These are on the front of the vest
- one on each side. The dancing girl is my own design and personal
trademark.

OK, it's just a cool vest I wear when
I'm facilitating drum circles. :)
