It's very simple, and can be done in under an hour unless you want to embellish the card fronts a LOT...

I'm not slacking... REALLY! I know it appears that I'm not doing anything productive ... but I am!

I finished the dress form... it's hard to photograph where it makes sense... I'll get better pictures this weekend in the context of the other entries...



The challenge here was to take a paper mache dress form and dress it. Well I decided it didn't look finished, and turned it into a bizarre plant.




There are "stamens" at the top (i.e. copper wire and red seed beads) and a fairy door in the base.

I'm working on a doll for Trudi.. and when she sees it, she will freak out because I found out today that she is working on something in a similar color scheme... and that's all I can say...
It's due Saturday.

And if you know me, you know I am NOT a Drama Queen... LOL There is a story, and this is an excellent find - not to mention, a REALLY pretty color! Thanks Trudi!

I'm also working on a scarf thingie... it's my practice piece before I make socks!

Sock yarn ! Thanks to Lime n Violet, I decided to make some socks. Not that I had time to do that right now.....

Well I had to go to the LYS anyway to get a gift for my SIL that knits, so I HAD to get some sock yarn to practice with, RIGHT? Ok so it wasn't just one skein... it was 2.. but I was good! I put my big girl yarn into the Christmas pile to save and wrap... but this is what I'm practicing with:



The other stuff is not this "2 tone" ... it's a color way.. sorry.. you gotta wait!

Like I need another hobby... So I am calling the dress form thing done. I'll post photos after the party and exchange. It definitely needs something, but I'll go into that later...

I'm supposed to be making a doll for one of my very favorite people, but is that what I'm spending time with today? NOooooooooooooooo...

I learned how to knit, and there is yarn in my house calling my name... now how pathetic is that!?
I have already frogged the few test pieces I made, but I'll try to take a pic of this next item...
