More Pin Dolls...
These lovely pin dolls took on their own personalities this weekend. I have an upcoming retreat where I have to make a pin doll to exchange. The theme of the pin doll is "Au Natural" ... and when you are digging through your stash and find some fiber of a certain consistency... well, it just digressed from there...
The other 2 are much less "racy" - one is a Dancer, the other I haven't finished yet because she wants beads...

Thanks to
Vix for this great pattern! I missed out on the Joy swap, but these were fun anyway!

Funny name, serious COOL factor
Take any pic you want, blow it up to WALL SIZE (or whatever) and then print it in multiple pages, fit them together and then you have a huge poster!

International Dancers

These are some dolls I made for a swap on the Fiber Art Traders group. The pattern is "Joy" by Vix Lowmiller and will be available later this year. They are about 5" tall from the tip of their toe to the top of their head. I will embellish them later, but I think they look good dancing in a group like this!

I am taking the Jack Johnston class in Houston next week, I hope I learn some techniques that will one day allow me to make a doll half as beautiful as this one!
I don't speak Russian..
This guy's work is incredible. I won't repeat the cliche about Art and Universality... LOL
